The Slits’ New European Tour
The Legendary British punk band are planning a European tour to support a first album in almost three decades.
The Slits are preparing to tour various cities in Europe after new full-length album in over 25 years will be released.
The Slits will kick off the tour in Portugal on October 3 before taking on Britain. The punk band will be performing new material from their album ‘Trapped Animal’ which is scheduled for release on October 5.
The Slits current line-up comprises original members Ari Up and Tessa Pollitt, joined with Hollie Cook, the daughter of Paul Cook, Adele Wilson and Anna Schlute.
Coinciding with all this news, ‘Typical Girls? The Story Of The Slits’ by Zoe Street Howe, a book tracking the band, has also been released recently.
