Susan Boyle catches the bus to buy frock for X Factor
Superstar singer Susan Boyle was seen riding on a bus yesterday to purchase a new outfit for The X Factor.
Boyle’s new album is set to top the charts, but SuBo was happy to use public transport to drop into Bathgate for a spending spree.
The 48 year old, who performed her single Wild Horses on the television show yesterday, left her home in Blackburn, West Lothian, for the shopping trip.
Boyle was seen wearing a raincoat and black trousers, while sporting her usual Burberry scarf and some red lipstick, showing no signs of nerves.
Susan walked past a local primary school before stopping to talk to a friend outside a newsagent, before popping into a shopping centre then catching the 557 bus to Bathgate town centre for her shopping spree along High Street.
Fans and well-wishers raced to be by her side as she graciously posed for photographs.
After an hour in the department store M&Co, she came out sporting a bulging bag of purchases.
Last night’s performance was her most important TV performance since the final of Britain’s Got Talent, where she came second.
Her debut album, I Dreamed A Dream, was released today, and has already become a bestselling album on Amazon.com for pre-sales alone.
As well as her appearance on X Factor, she has also arranged a string of publicity events in the US next week.
Boyle appeared on X Factor along with Mariah Carey, who performed her new single I Want To Know What Love Is.
